Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In June and July this year I'll be cycling on my own through France from St Malo to Nice. The journey's around 1000 miles and I'm taking about 5 weeks. I'll be camping along the way, carrying everything I need on my bike.
I chose to support Cancer Research UK because its role is vital in finding improved ways to treat cancer. Cancer touches all of us in some way, be it through personal experience or that of a family member, friend or colleague.
In 2015 I cycle camped from Lands End to John o'Groats for Cancer Research UK and thought that, in this, my 65th year, a journey right across France might make a suitable further challenge as well as giving me an opportunity to raise some more funds for my favourite charity.
I'm funding the trip myself and JustGiving will send all donations straight to Cancer Research UK.
After an overnight ferry crossing I'll be setting off from St Malo on Saturday 16th June. You can follow my progress on Twitter at @GeoffCrowther1 or on my blog www.farnotfast.blogspot.co.uk
