Story

Thank you for supporting my Non-Copyright Infringing Fire Dog Charity Abseil in aid of Neptune Children's Ward at Southend Hospital - part of the Tackle The Tower challenge on Saturday 12th May 2018.

I will be taking part by abseiling down the side of the iconic Tower Block building dressed in an adult costume that depicts 'you know who' from 'that TV show' that all parents love unconditionally on Nick Jr.

You know, the one that makes you recoil in fear every time you walk into Smyth's with your little ones. The one where the deputy mayor is a chicken for Christ's sake. That one.

I have chosen Neptune Children's Ward to receive donations because not only has my three-year-old recently had day surgery there, but also because his best friend is currently undergoing treatment for leukaemia and is shuttling between Neptune and GOSH.

Please remember to Gift Aid your donations! Thank you.

NB: I will be wearing the costume that is in the picture, minus the paw gloves for safety reasons. However, it is important to remember that the final touch (the novelty head) will only be included if conditions on the day allow. The final decision rests with the event organisers on the day and is therefore out of my control.
