Story

Thanks for clicking through to my fundraising page.

For those of you who don't know already, I'm embarking on one of the UK's most crazy fundraising challenges: The Three Peaks Challenge. Yes, the rumours are true. It's a race to climb the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales - in 24 hours!

Don't worry, I'm not doing it alone. I have a team of trusted friends and colleagues doing it with me. We're all raising money for different charities, but I have chosen The Alzheimer's Society - a cause very close to heart as my Grandma is currently battling with this terribly sad disease.

The society is an excellent charity - they do essential work helping people live with the effects of Alzheimer's and giving support to their carers. They are also campaigning for more access to Alzheimer's drugs for people with dementia and are currently battling in the High Court to make this happen.

I'd be really, really grateful if you could spare a few pounds to support the Society through sponsoring me in this challenge. It would mean a lot.

Don't forget to Gift Aid your donation - the charity gets an extra 28p on every pound you donate so it makes your gift go that little bit further.

Thanks for your support and I'll keep you updated on my progress!

Cheers,

Gemmax

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
