Event: Giant's Causeway Mighty Hike 2023 - full marathon, on 24 June 2023
We're hiking a half or full marathon following the iconic Giants Causeway, taking in the dramatic views of Northern Irelands first UNESCO World Heritage Site and raising vital funds for people affected by cancer.

Story

Unfortunately, Cancer runs in my family. I lost my Nana Maggie to Breast Cancer when I was just eight years old. More recently, I lost my Granda Danny to Sepsis, which was a side effect of treatment received for Prostate Cancer. Even more recently my Aunty Cheryl and Granny Dolly were diagnosed and treated for Breast Cancer. And most recent of all, my Aunty Fiona (also my godmother) was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and is now going through her treatment process.

Thank you so much if you've already supported my fundraising. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
