We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

we are all joining together to raise money for brain tumour research in memory of Barry Smith. Barry was diagnosed with an incurable brain cancer (GBM) in march 2020 and despite surgery to debulk the tumour, radio therapy and chemotherapy Barry lost his curageous battle just 11 short months later a month after he turned 62. Barry left behind his wife Jacqui, and two daughters Lydia 23 and Lorna 20. Barry was an incredibly thoughful person and we would like to raise money in his memory. Brain tumour research is massively underfunded yet is the biggest killer of children and adults under 40. Any donation no matter how small would mean the world to us all.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
