a huge thank you to everyone that has already donated money to my just giving page for St Peters Hospice 10 Mile Midnight Walk. Every penny will go to an awesome charity that is extremely close to my families heart. The care and compassion they showed my to Dad was amazing. All the money in the world wont ever thank them enough but it will help them to continue to care for more terminally ill local people and their families xx
Horts Hunnies are walking in the 10 mile midnight walk. please help me raise lots of money for @stpetershospice
This time last year my family and i were going through the very worst time of our lives. My Dad, Tony Horton had just been diagnosed with terminal cancer. My world fell apart. My Dad had always been the life and soul if any party and was without a shadow of a doubt the funniest, kindest man i've ever met. Dad became very poorly very quickly. We made all the preparations for Dad to pass away at home but it became clear that he needed specialist care which was our first contact with St Peters Hospice. A community Nurse came to the house to discuss Dad going into the hospice for a few days to sort his medication. Dad and us reluctantly agreed. However from the moment he had settled in he knew he was in the right place. The staff were so aware of all our needs. Dad was 'happy'. His meds were sorted and he was comfortable. I miss my Amazing Dad every single moment but take comfort in the fact that St Peters Hospice made his last days the best they could be. I will never be able to thank them enough but donating to my Just Giving Page will help us to thank them for the care and support they offered us and continue to offer other patients and families every day. So please donate. Thank you xx
