Story

Endometriosis is the name given to the condition where cells similar to the ones in the lining of the womb (uterus) are found elsewhere in the body.

It is a chronic and often debilitating condition that can cause severe pain. It may also lead to infertility, fatigue and bowel and bladder problems. Around 1.5 million women in the UK are currently living with the condition. The impact of this disease can be felt for life.

Having been diagnosed with Endometriosis over 15 years ago this disease has affected my life in many ways and has led to me recently having my 7th surgery to help relieve my symptoms. To help raise awareness of this condition and to provide support to anyone else that may be affected by this chronic condition I will be walking/running 10km every day in March and would love your support ❤️

The money raised throughout the challenge will go a long way in helping Endometriosis UK support those affected to get the support and healthcare they need.
