As some of you are already aware I have been growing out my locks for a long time now, and will be donating 12 inches (at least!) of my mane (before it all goes grey) to a charity that make wigs for children less fortunate than I. 

I hope you will contribute, even if it's just £1, it will make all the difference, as these wigs not only take a great deal of hair (up to three people's hair per wig!) they also cost £350 to produce. 

In other news, my employer Wates Group, will match every single penny that I raise for this amazing cause.
