St Catherine's helped my family care for my mum at home for almost 2 years, making it possible for us to give my mum the care she badly needed. They prepared us for the worst time imaginable. My mum died last year, the 16th June marks the first year anniversary For the day we will never forget.

No less than 2 months after my mum passed away,  my good friend (and boss, as she used to like to remind me!) Linda Dring followed- she gave up her battle with cancer and passed away in St Catherine's hospice, Where she had spent her final days resting and being cared for by the lovely staff.

The staff at the hospice work wonders, and many are volunteers wanting to help. This hospice is in such demand with patients needing respite, and it is mainly funded by charity.
