Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have sat down this morning and tried to put down on paper Alices story. I got as far as the morning my waters broke and realised i had written 4 pages of A4 already. so i have decided to just do it straight to here and if you want to know anything else please just ask.

I had a very difficult pregnancy and was in and out of hospital. I always knew Alice was going to be special,we just didnt know how special. we didnt want the amniocentisis as it wouldnt have changed the path we were already on,but our scans showed some indications of a chromosome problem.

Alice was born 10, weeks premature, she was born with a rare chromosome disorder that only two people in the world, ever, have been born with.she had two holes in the heart, she overcame so many obstacles including surgeries to be here for 11 week and 4 days. It would be impossible to write down every problem she faced and every problem she delt with, she was just a miracle baby. an extraordinary girl.

she chose her time to leave us in the most beautiful way at martin house, her final gift to us giving us piece of mind that it was her time to go.
