I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of "The Dream Team Trio", to take part in London Marathon 2020.
Myself, my husband (Simon) and Sarah Spooner will be all part of London Marathon 2020 as a team, raising money for Leukaemia Care.

So back in September 2019 I made the decision to join Sarah and my husband Simon in the London 2020 marathon. My story started to help raise awareness of blood cancer because Sarah’s family has been affected by this greatly, but in January of this year my own family has been affected by blood cancer.
My younger brother David got the diagnosis in January that he has Stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, which is a blood cancer that affects the lymphatic system. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy which he will have every two weeks for the next 6 months. At the age of only 35 years old, this is something he nor us as a family would have ever thought we would be going through. His treatment so far is going well, with a few side effects, but he is strong and determined to give Cancer the big 🖕.
So with only 9 weeks until the big day of 26.2miles, I am determined to raise as much money as I can to help other families out there and to raise awareness of what this cancer is. With the help of my family supporting, Sarah and Si to be there with me and the continued support of Amy, I will get to the finish line with my brother in mind, as a marathon is no where near as big of a fight as what he is doing at the moment.
So please if you can spare £1 please please donate. Every little bit helps and contributes to a fantastic charity. 💖
