Story

I became ill with ME almost 3 years ago and had no idea how to help myself to recover from this illness, my doctor couldn't help me and luckily I found The Optimum Health Clinic. To get this far in my recovery has been the most challenging thing I have ever done and I know I will get to full recovery because of the help and support I get from the clinic (and because I'm a stubborn mare). This however comes at a cost and there are so many people who have this illness and can't afford to fund treatment for themselves, this is why the clinical trials the OHC are running with the University of Surrey are so important to get the treatment they have developed available on the NHS.

As I'm still in recovery running a marathon wasn't really an option (watch this space though) so I thought I would share some of the things that have helped me get this far in my recovery. I will be holding a rejuvenating morning of yoga, with my good friend Emily Bruce, meditation with me and healthy snacks that will be natural, gluten free, sugar free and caffeine free.

I have 40 spaces for the morning and suggest a donation of £10, then email me at gem.c.hunt@gmail.com to book your space. It is the morning of Sunday 3rd September, starts at 10am and ends at 12:30pm at Colden Common Community Centre.
