Story
Hi all,
Yes i have decided to run the London Marathon this year, a very worrying decision i know!
Anyway, i will be running for Hope For Children and their 'Walk to School Programme,' which helps provide an education for over 100 children who are living in a slum just outside of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda.
I am also running in memory of my dad Keith, who died in 1992. He was a wonderful dad and a great runner who would be running it with me had he lived. He's missed by many and i'm proud to be running in his memory, provided of-course i actually make it round!
This is a really great cause and any money raised will make an immediate difference to the lives of Children who have life far harder than i can imagine. I know it's just after Christmas and that the recession has cash extra hard to come by for everyone but if you can help me, i'd really appreciate it!
Not only that but i'll look rubbish to the rest of the team if i don't raise any money!
I promise to give it my all and thank you so so much for your support, believe me.. i will need it!
