Iare trekking the Grand Canyon in March 2014 for Have a Heart as I feel they help make a BIG impact on lives of many disadvantages children. I feel the Grand Canyon Trek is going to be a great challenge to face, whilst at the same time, an awesome feeling knowing I am doing a great thing for a beautiful cause. 

MY STORY... 

I want to do something in order to make an impact on my life but an even bigger impact on other people's! This is where I need your help! I am hoping to raise a target of £3,850 and I would love to have all the support possible.

'Have a Heart' is a wonderful charity who help to make seriously ill children's wishes come true. There are so many children in the UK that have terminal illnesses, who require 24 hour care and some who dont even make it into adulthood. By granting their wish, we're giving these young individuals and their families a moment to remember, and a chance to take them away from their daily struggles. Therefore there is every reason to love this charity and I believe that every young person should be given a reason to smile!!

THE GRAND CANYON TREK...

A brief insight of the trek we will undertake: we shall be heading through the Sonoran desert acclimatising to the high temperatures, treking on a rough trail to Beaver Falls, hiking up and across the grand canyon along a strenous route and ending with the finale of a 3000ft climb out of the Canyon! In total we will hike for over 60km and spend our nights sleeping under the stars in negative degrees temperatures.
