Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Every penny of sponsorship money raised  is used to provide a lifeline to the most vulnerable individuals and families living in our communities.

Money raised is used to help struggling families by funding items such as school uniforms, supermarket vouchers and food bank parcels.

A single parent with three children who was experiencing financial hardship because she was on a zero-hour contract, and then had to move homes due to domestic violence, received support to get furniture, other household items and supermarket vouchers.

So please donate and help me reach my target to help more people like this. Thank you :-)

Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) works in the community, providing homes for lower-income households. This is our primary purpose, and everything else we do supports that aim. Money raised through fundraising contributes to our hardship fund, helping residents during times of hardship and crisis. Sadly, many of our residents struggle to meet basic food and energy costs or pay for essential household items such as beds, fridges, and cookers. This is often due to vulnerability, ill-health, family bereavement or unexpected gaps in benefit claims. Our hardship fund supports around 500 NHG residents per year during these difficult times, with grants to help ease stress and suffering.
