I am running th Sydney Marathon in September this year in memory of my dad. Macmillan gave a lot of support to both Lin and my Dad this year and also to my grandad Neville and my nan in the past. Cancer is such a horrid disease and after losing dad this year, I wanted to take on this challenge to try and do something to help others fighting cancer.

I know nowadays people are alway asking for money and sponsorship for different events and in this financial climate, finding that spare money isn't easy. But after seeing first hand what cancer does to people, take the time to think what you are actually contributing to when you sponsor.
