Hello Everyone,

On Saturday 29 September I will be taking part in the Shine Walk half marathon. I will be walking overnight around London, to raise money for Cancer Research.

My family has been affected by Cancer and I’m sure you know of someone who has been diagnosed with this terrible illness.

Cancer Research UK’s work has saved millions of lives in the UK and around the world by finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. Their work has helped ensure that survival rates in the UK have doubled in the last 40 years and they remain the world’s leading charity dedicated to saving lives through research. Their scientists and doctors have contributed to most of the world’s top cancer drugs and have pioneered and helped revolutionise the use of radiotherapy to treat cancer from its beginnings over 100 years ago.

All monies raised will help towards further research and resources to help find ways to prevent, diagnose and treat Cancer.

This is my first ever fund raising event and my biggest physical challenge to date. Please can you donate generously to this very worthy cause.

Thank you for your support.
