Story
Anyone who knows me knows I am a lazy bones who loathes exercise. Let's be clear on this.. exercise is not my jam.
Lockdown started well with daily walks that have dwindled. I need to get fit and so I have decided to challenge myself for a good cause, this will keep me accountable to do a 30 day squat challenge.
The thought of doing 140 squats in a day seems unachievable right now, but it will be good for me and with your support and the motivation to raise funds and awareness for Toybox will keep me going.
I need to change my fitness level and challenge myself, but also the world needs to change, no children should have to live and work on the streets.
You might have seen street children when you travelled in your gap year or took an adventurous honeymoon, you might have formed opinions about these children. Imagine your kids or nieces and nephews, grandchildren being left on their own to feed, clothe themselves with no money, nowhere to sleep at night, or wash your hair or brush your teeth, no school, no access to medical care, noone to tuck them in at night and protect them and most of all noone who cares.
Why should you care? These children didn't choose that life, but I 100% believe things can be changed for street children for the long term... by Toybox.
Donate and give me a reason to get these squats done please!!!! 30 days... what I am doing?!!! I have said it on the internet now, so I have to get it done! Please donate!!!
£3 will provide a hot drink and warm meal for a street child.
