Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I was set to run Brighton 2020 but due to Covid-19 this has been cancelled but I am not giving up. As right now more people than ever are and will be suffering with mental health problems aggravated by the current crisis we are all facing. So more than ever we need to all pull together and look out for each other.
This will be my second marathon - next year in Brighton! It will not be easy. I am overweight the joys of comfort eating and struggle with my own mental health but I will do this! I know I’m not alone and I will do this to empower everyone struggling with their minds.
In January 2020 I took part in RED - which is Run Every Day and/or being active everyday. I did this and continued until the end of February. It was difficult and I was tired but by being active it empowered me and made me feel happier too!
Bring it on 2021! Once the lock-down has been lifted I will gradually increase the mileage again as I had got up to 15 miles training. But now I have lowered it and looking to strengthen my own body - mind and all. Let’s do this....!
