Hi, I am a student at Pate's Grammar School and at the end of March I am going to Romania with a group from school to help with charity work for The Smiles Foundation. We are planning to help with projects involving caring for the elderly, educating the young and other construction projects. Many of the projects we will be helping with can be found on the website:

To help with the projects when we are out there I am aiming to do a 3x 5 mile triathlon to raise some money. This will involve me doing a 5 mile run, a 5 mile cycle (probably both in a gym) and a 5 mile swim which is 320 lengths of a 25m pool! I will be aiming to complete the triathlon around the weekend of the 9th and 10th of March. 

I would really appreciate your support in helping me raise my target of £200! It is a personal fitness challenge for me and hopefully by doing it I will be able to make as bigger difference as possible when I visit Romania.Pate's has been supporting The Smiles Foundation for many years and we hope to make the 2013 trip the best yet!
