We have 60+ residents right now In our four care homes in London and Essex who our staff are fighting to keep safe against all the odds. We know that if they contract COVID-19 it will have come from our dedicated care team. Staff cannot prevent close contact with residents as this is vital for their care and wellbeing - but with quality protective equipment in place we can minimise the risk and protect lives. So far PPE supplies from Public Health have been prioritised for NHS critical teams. This has left care homes exposed and charities like Diagrama facing rocketing costs of securing the sparse supplies ourselves privately.
