Story

My sister recently lost her baby girl poppy who was also my beautiful niece, having to watch my sister stay so strong after what she has been through is heartbreaking as I can only imagine the pain and loss she is feeling right now. This hit me harder then I could of imagined, I was totally gutted and I want to raise money and do this run for this amazing charity not only for the remembrance of Poppy but I also know how amazing this charity is and how much they are helping my sister and her partner to come to terms with what has happened.

In the UK alone an average of 17 babies a day are either stillborn or die within a few days of birth? WHY? That's what the charity SANDS are trying to find out.

Research is desperately needed to understand and raise awareness on why babies die in order to develop better screening tools to identify babies at risk of stillbirth and save lives.

I'm doing the British London 10k Run on the 13th July 2014 in aid of this charity. Anything you can donate will be amazing, thanks for taking the time out to visit this page and read my story :)
