Story
I (stupidly) have decided to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. All 19,341ft of it. Right to the top. Out of everyone that takes on this feat, only 30% make it to the top.
Did you know more people die climbing Kilimanjaro than they do Everest? So why am i doing it?
Simply put, because the RSPCA is the most awesome charity and improves the lives of thousands of animals every single week. Every penny spent by the RSPCA has been donated by people like you. We do not get any government funding.
So, Fudge’s operation to have his broken leg amputated was paid for by you. The emaciated kittens that were crawling in fleas, that I found dumped in a recycling box a fortnight ago have been wormed, defleaed and fed up because of you. If it hadn’t of been for people like you, I have no doubt at all that Fudge would have lived the rest of his life with a broken and dislocated leg and that the kittens would have died a slow and painful death.
But, because of our current economic climate, we have never needed your help, your donations so much.
I want to carry on saving the lives of dogs, cats, horses, seals, ferrets, cockatiels, rabbits, sheep, donkeys, fish, snakes, hedgehogs, foxes, guinea pigs, badgers, dolphins and mermaids.
Please give what you can, even if it’s a couple of pounds to pay for the fuel so i can get to that call.
Thank you
Gemma and Fudge
