Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On April 6th I'm running the Paris Marathon, with a group of wonderful friends. I'll be running this marathon in memory of my friend Andrew, who died last year, aged just 30. Andrew had a cardiac arrest having just completed the Edinburgh Half Marathon. Arrythmia Alliance has been chosen as Andrew's charity by his fiancee Nathalie, they support the provision of defibrillators in the community to improve survival of people suffering from sudden cardiac arrythmias and arrests.
If you could sponsor me, and support this charity in memory of Andrew, that would be fantastic. Here are some numbers for you to inspire your donation amounts, feel free to convert them to pounds:
26 - the number of miles I will be running
42 - the number of kilometres, if you are European or rich
10 - the number of minutes it takes me to run a mile when i'm running this far!
6 - the number of miles I will have run in each hour, I hope
15 - the number of days I'm going to justify unlimited eating after the marathon
I'll stop there, I could also include numbers such as 'how many days my legs will ache', 'how many steps I will be taking during the run' and 'how many cool Parisien sights I'm going to miss whilst running due to the sweat, bloods and tears in my eyes', but I'm guessing none of you are that affluent.
Thank you very much for any donation you can make. x
