Sooo me and my lovely fiancé Garath Cope, have decided totake part in the ‘biggest loser for St Lukes’. People who know me know that this is sooo out of my comfort zone, recently I commented to Gaz I hate physical activity as I don’t like being out of breath and sweaty!! This challenge is  a 10 week programme of extreme activity and healthy eating, with the ultimate goal to be the biggest looser! Activities include boot camps, this is outside and not weather dependant!!, outdoor swimming and ballet lessons …... I know I want to see Gaz do that too, I will take photos! We may even give up the booze for a bit of it!! 

The only way I would ever do this is I know all the money
raised is going to the most fantastic place, my place of work St Luke’s.  I have been a nurse for 13 years and I have never seen such compassion and care like it at St Luke’s, the personal touch and home from home attitude has astounded me. Patients and families absolutely come
first It is an absolute honour and privilege to be part of the team and I know that every bit of your money you donate will be put to amazing use!

So I’m pleading with you to donate every penny will help! I will
be doing a blog along the way on behalf of the Gs (Gem and Gaz) it will be honest and frank about what we are taking on!! Dig deep lovelies!! Thanks so

Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing palliative care to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Last year we supported over 1,000 local people with a huge range of support from end of life care on our ward to supporting carers, and from helping children cope with grief to helping patients return to work after an illness.We are a charity and provide all our care for free, so we rely on the generosity and commitment of our supporters to raise more than 80% of our costs.
