In 2024 I am embarking on a fundraising challenge by taking part on the Dorothy House Hospice Trek 2024 in Vietnam. This JustGiving page not only shares my plan but all and you can help me reach my fundraising target. 

Hospice care is something many people aren't hugely familiar with until they or a loved one requires their help. I first crossed paths with Dorothy House back in 2010 through my work, and the more I have learnt about the work they do, the more am inspired to do what I can to support the organisation. A close friend of mine is currently receiving support from Dorothy House, and this fundraiser is a way for me to support them through this difficult time by helping to fundraise for the hospice. 

This challenge will help raise vital funds to support patients and their families across Wiltshire. The Dorothy House Vietnam Trek is more than the physical challenge of completing the trek, but its a chance to give my time, effort and funds raised to this local charity to continue their hugely valuable work. On the trip we will have the opportunity to help with restoration work at a palliative care unit in the Mai Chau region, before then commencing the trek in the Pu Luong Natural Reserve. Along the way we will be staying in guest houses, walking through jungles and embarking on long treks, all in aid of Dorothy House.
