After a short battle with mesothelioma my Dad passed away at home with loved ones close by on the 6th December 2021. Despite the prognosis Dad retained his sense of humour and fought bravely throughout in the hope of more time to spend with family and friends.

As Dad didn’t want a funeral service I’ve created this page to allow people to pay their respects. The support provided through Meso UK and many other charities including City Hospice was invaluable so this is also a great opportunity to help them in continuing to support other families. I never thought I’d see the day that Dad would take part in a Zoom singalong arranged by the charities but it brought a smile to his face!
