The fairearthfoundation runs a special challenge, every month, to climb El Teide, the third highest volcano in the world (3715m!!). I accepted the challenge! and I will hopefully make it to the top on the 26 of februari. The aim of the challenge is to raise money for a charity. I choose to raise money for the Plastic Bank (https://plasticbank.com/about/) The Plastic Bank is an organisation that is building ethical recycling ecosystems. They encourage people to collect plastic waste and bring it to the plastic Banks by giving money in return. They mostly operate in poor areas to give people a change to have a better income. Collected material is reborn as Social Plastic® which is reintegrated into products and packaging. This creates a closed-loop supply chain while helping those who collect it.
