Story

Thank you for visiting our sponsorship page.

Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research.

For 65 years they have helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Their research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. They urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children and can’t do it without you.

Lets try and help them !

The Challenge

To be completed in 1 day before sunset .....

Bike 40 miles – around Skiddaw mountain and the incredible winding roads and lanes
Canoe 2.5 miles – navigating the course as a team on Derwent Water in open top canoes
Hike 11 miles – to the summit of Skiddaw, one of the highest mountains in England at 931m

Thank you

Dan, Phil, Ross & George
