Our Story

In a short space of time, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the world and affected every single one of us. Our work, routines and ways of life, have, for the time being, been invariably changed and in some ways been put on 'pause'. We remain indoors and away from our friends and our loved ones to protect them and stem the spread of this virus. For most of us in the trampolining community, self-isolating means we are also away from the sport that we love and dedicate so much of our lives to.

However, this disruption pales in comparison to the sacrifices those working in the NHS are making every single day. Nurses, doctors, paramedics, ward staff, cleaners and every other member of staff putting themselves at risk of exposure are doing so for us. To protect us, to treat us, and, when necessary, to make our passing comfortable. They do not get to stay at home with their families away from this pandemic. Their jobs take them to the frontline in the fight against COVID-19 and we want to show our gratitude and help support the NHS.

By creating fun challenges, we hope to engage our trampoline gymnastics family and our wider communities to keep us connected with each other and our sport. We hope that by giving additional meaning and purpose to getting involved with these challenges will help further bond our community and in return, raise more funds and strengthen the NHS. So please have fun with our challenges, stay home, stay connected, help the NHS and save lives!

Who Are We?

We are the Senior Trampoline Team for Great Britain. Our team consists of our women trampolinists (Bryony Page, Kat Driscoll, Izzy Songhurst & Laura Gallagher), our men trampolinists (Luke Strong, Corey Walkes & Andrew Stamp) and our National Coaches (Gary Smith & Tracy Whittaker-Smith). Collectively, we have won multiple British, European and World Championship Gold medals and an an Olympic Silver.

We have many years of experience in sport and we want to put together the skills we have learnt during this time with the hopes of engaging our community and raising funds for the NHS.

RAFFLE!!

UPDATE: Thank you everyone who donated towards our Olympic leotard giveaway. WE NOW HAVE OUR WINNER! JOSHUA GREER Congratulations ! :)

We are so grateful for all your donations and everyone who has gotten involved with the #CreateDonate challenge so far. We are doing our best to achieve our target of raising £5,000 for NHS Charities Together, but still have a little way to go. One thing we thought we could do to help out our fundraising and to say thanks to you who are donating, is to start a RAFFLE!! We will be raffling off this women's TeamGB Olympic Leotard pictured here.

At GBR Trampoline, we all have the same dream: to represent our country in the sport we love. The feeling of marching out into an arena at the pinnacle of sport, wearing GB kit flagged with the Union Jack, is one filled with pride and excitement. This Great British leotard represents our hard work, dedication and passion towards our sport and the opportunity and honour to show the world what we can do. It means the world to us. We hope that the funds raised from raffling this leotard we feel so much pride towards can help the wonderful NHS workers who are showing the world how incredible they are!

HOW TO TAKE PART:
1. DONATE & end your comment with "RAFFLE"
2. TICK THE BOX to allow us to see your name & contact details, and make sure we can see how much you donate because...
3. For every £10 you donate, you'll be assigned a raffle ticket number.

There will be a live raffle draw on SUNDAY 14th JUNE 2020 – this would have been the day for our Olympic Kitting-Out!

If your number is drawn, you will be the winner of this TeamGB leotard for the Rio Olympics, where we brought our largest team yet, qualified the maximum of two ladies in the final and where our first Olympic medal in trampolining was won! If you would like it signed, we can make this happen for you.
