Story

This year, GBG is fundraising for the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Appeal to help support people affected by the war in Ukraine.

Our aim for this challenge is to collectively travel the distance from GBG’s office in Chester, UK to Kiev in Ukraine - a distance of roughly 1,700 miles/ 2,700 km. You can do this by setting your own personal distance challenge using any non-motorised form of travel. For example, you could run 10km, cycle 30km or skateboard 5km. You could even form a team with other GBG team mates and walk 20km together. The choice is yours!

After the challenge, we’ll add up everyone’s distances to see how far we travelled. Please use a distance-measuring app (eg Strava) to show us how far you went and how long it took.
