We Bring people together to improve the lives of people in Norfolk

Story

The team at Goals Based Financial Planning will be working themselves hard to navigate and complete the near 70 mile course between Hunstanton and Great Yarmouth. They will be going past many organisations (as checkpoints) that the Norfolk Community Foundation has supported along the way, including:

Great Yarmouth:
Sally’s Store (part of the NNN), Shrublands Food Club (Gorleston) (Part of the NNN), DIAL - offer free advice to disabled and vulnerable people in Great Yarmouth and Out There Arts - delivers circus and outdoor arts based activities, Herring House Trust - provides accomodation and support to the homeless and Top Banana - provides support to help people be more physically and socially active

Sea Palling:
Sea Palling Lifeboat Limited - an independent lifeboat service providing search and rescue in Norfolk

Cromer:
Merchants Place - supported over many years, they run a community hub space, community fridge and larder and various community activities to bring people together and About with Friends - who supports its members with learning difficulties to enjoy life to the full

Sheringham:
Age Concern North Norfolk - who aim to improve the quality of life for older people and YesU - a Christian based charity providing community services for all ages

Wells:
Wells community hospital - who are setting up a mobile food supermarket as part of the Nourishing Norfolk Network.

Hunstanton:
Men’s Shed – tackling social isolation through activities and practical skills

You can see from the checkpoints alone, how valuable this charity's work is. Help us to help them continue their worthy cause!

Thank you!
