Story
So we are slowly getting past the Covid lockdowns and hopefully life continues to return to some kind of Normal.
This year to raise funds for Prostate Cancer I will be taking part in the usual London to Amsterdam ride on 10th June. It will be special in several ways, firstly my son will be riding with me and secondly I have been invited to skipper the team of 30 Spurs cyclist, both of which I am very proud of.
Before that takes place however we have a cheeky little warm up ride for 8 of the Spurs team with a 50KM ride round the closed roads of Brighton on the day of the marathon, a nice short ride to stretch the legs out a bit and catch up with some other team members, folowing that we have Ride London on the 29th May a lovely 100 miles ride out into the beautiful Essex countryside and finishing back in London on the iconic Tower Bridge.
11 days later on the 10th June comes football to Amsterdam and our team of 30 will join 200 other riders as we set off from the Olympic park in Londons East End on our annual 2 day ride to the Ajax Arena in Amsterdam
Next up 21 days later is the Grand Depart in Copenhagen, Denmark which is a 198km closed road event taking the same route the the Tour De Frane will take when it departs the following morning
The support you have shown me over the years has been incredible and as is always the case any donations regardless of amount are all so very gratefully received and as was the case in 2019 when we completed the ride almost entirely in heavy rain and winds, it makes it feel so good knowing we are fundraising for such a great cause.
