I'm asking that you will join me in raising critical funds for Gateway to Hope - a breast cancer lifeline for women in Missouri and Southern Illinois. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetimes. 6,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year in Missouri alone, and over half of them will be faced with impossible financial decisions - like choosing between treatment for breast cancer and essentials like rent or mortgage payments and transportation. Gateway to Hopes services have helped hundreds of women feel empowered to manage their healthcare and access the care they deserve; but there is still more work to be done. Over the next month, I am aiming to raise $1,000 that will allow Gateway to Hope to continue providing emotional support, treatment navigation services, and financial assistance to women in our community facing a breast cancer diagnosis.
