Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

In August of 2014 myself and my fiance intend to cycle from Glasgow to Edinburgh to raise money for charity, Stewart is cycling for MacMillan Cancer Support while I've chosen Parkinson's UK. My father was diagnosed with the disease a few years ago and the charity has been an excellent source of information for our family.

Our plan is to ride from Glasgow Queen street station reasonably early then fanny around trying to locate the Forth and Clyde canal for a bit. We’ll follow this until we reach the Falkirk wheel. At this point we’ll cut up onto the Union canal and follow it to Fountainbridge in Edinburgh from where we can walk half a mile to Haymarket station.

Using  an online map marking tool I’ve calculated the distance to be approx 55 miles, if you can't afford to donate then please pray for the quick recovery of my posterior.
