Story
After 6 consecutive unsuccessful attempts for a ballot place for the London Marathon, I have decided to make my choice to run a marathon more worth while by running it for a charity.
I decided to run for Bone Cancer Research Trust. BCRT first started in 2004 when a group of families who had lost children and young people to primary bone cancer came together. Since then BCRT has funded research into many different forms of primary bone cancer and ensures that information and support is available to patients of all ages.
And I suppose Tom Sheffle may have something to do with my choice of charity.

I’m going to be running a few races in the lead up to the marathon to ensure that I keep up with my training. I’ve done half marathons before so I know how hard running a marathon will be and I can’t just wing it this time.
My training will also include cutting down/out alcohol from January (most of you will know that is going to be harder for me than the running...) so if you don’t want to sponsor me for the running, then feel free to sponsor me for cutting down on alcohol!
I’m really nervous about doing this but hope you will all support me in donating to such a worthy cause.
Thank you all so so much!
