Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My beautiful Mum lost her fight with Bowel/Colon Cancer on May 9th 2012.
We have decided to set up this memorial fund so instead of bringing flowers to her funeral, you can raise some money, to enable the Bobby Moore Fund to keep up the great work in their research into Bowel Cancer and help to prevent this happening to other families around the U.K.
My Mum was always very supportive of any charity work I did. She didn't really like flowers as a gift because they were beautiful but died so quicky. Her massive love of West Ham United Football club makes this charity perfect.
It takes thousands of pounds to help save the life of a cancer patient and we can say from personal experience although our outcome wasnt good, the medical teams at both Queens Hospital (Romford) and King Georges (Ilford) did all could to help my Mum, to save her and make her life whilst living with Cancer more bearable. They couldn't have done this without the valuable resources that The Bobby Moore Cancer Fund provides.
Your donation could save someones life, although Mum was unlucky in her treatment, please help us save someone else.
