We save land to save species.

Story

25 years ago a small group of gay birdwatchers gathered in Tolpuddle, just outside Dorchester and decided to found the GBC.  Today it has over 300 members of the LGBT+ community at home and abroad!  GBC hosts meetings around the UK and trips to overseas birding hot spots and continues to thrive.

What better way to celebrate than to safeguard a part of the subtropical scrub and oak forest in Mexico for the future of the birds and other wildlife that live there,

We aim to buy twenty five acres(an acre for each year), at £100.00 per acre.  If we can do more then let's do it!

So donate whatever you feel able to make this happen for the Club for the safeguarding of the land and for the birds.

The Military Macaw, pictured above,  is just one of the species living there that could, so easily, become endangered

Please give generously!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
