Leukaemia Babies Research
In the UK 1,200 children are diagnosed with cancer every year (one in 9,000). About 40% of these are blood cancers, the most common of which is acute leukaemia. Sparks is funding research focusing on the genes contributing to cancer development to improve treatment. This research is taking place at the University of Birmingham over three years. Stratstone as a company are raising as much as we can via various events to help fund this research.
To do my bit, I have decided to throw myself out of an aeroplane....
a) If that scares you as much as it does me..
b) If the idea of me falling 12,000 feet appeals to you..
then please be generous and sponsor a very worthy cause. I hope to be able to thank you all personally in September!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: SPARKS gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
