Bupa Great Manchester Run 2009 · 17 May 2009 ·

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Hi

I know what you are thinking....not another person asking for money..... but stop whining and help me out!

After a break of 3 years 'The Machine' has decided to dig out the running shoes and do the Bupa Great Manchester Run!

As you may or may not be aware my Dad suffers from the Progressive Degenerative form of Multiple Sclerosis and the stubborn sod refuses to let this crippling disease beat him, you will often hear him telling people that the reason he is unable to walk or the pain etched in his face is down to an  ingrowing toe nail or other humorous things to rude to mention on here..

The work the MS Society does to support MS sufferers is amazing, but obviously being a charity they cannot continue to do this work without donations.

I know times are hard and everyone is watching the pennies but if you could make a donation I would be very grateful.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Multiple Sclerosis Society of Great Britain & Northern Ireland gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
