Three Longest Lochs, 24 June 2017
The everyday heroes of the UK fire community face traumatic life and death situations. The Fire Fighters Charity is here to support them whether injured, ill or in need of psychological support.

Story

Gavin and Scott are friends and firefighters from Berkshire Fire service. They both happen to love a challenge. With Scott being the old hand in all of this he managed to wet Gavins appetite for his first proper challenge by suggesting they tackle the longest lochs in Scotland Gavin then took it one step further and suggested they take a tandem for a wee trip as well. They will be getting themselves from the bottom of Loch Lomond to the top of Loch Ness using their inflatable kayaks and a tandem bike Jeanie!!

That's right that's it!!

When on water they will tow their beloved Jeanie behind them in the second kayak and when on the road they will be towing everything in a trailer or on their backs. All of this they are hoping to do in 4 days but if the Scottish weather is cruel they have 1 day spare

Total miles to be kayaked is 72

Total miles to be tandem cycled is 137

Three longest lochs are Loch Lomond, Loch Awe and Loch Ness

Good Luck boys let's see if we can't get some funds for those firefighters and their families that so need the support xxxx
