I am hoping to raise awareness of, and funds for Hounds for Heroes, a local charity with a national reach.  Thank you for any donation you are able to make.

Hounds for Heroes provides specially trained assistance dogs to injured and disabled men and women of the UK Armed Forces and UK Civilian Emergency Services. They aim to provide help and practical support leading to an enhanced quality of life.

I have raised money for Hounds for Heroes previously through running the Great South and this time I am aiming to run a marathon. I am running the marathon for me, as a personal challenge.  I hope your donations will keep me motivated along the way to completing around 600miles of training in the lead up to the marathon which is 200miles north of the Arctic Circle.
