Story
Many of you will know our colleague and friend Alison Scobie. Her daughter Lynn was diagnosed with leukaemia in March of last year.Tragically Lynn died in October, aged just 21.
In her memory Lynn's family set up the Lynn Scobie Forget Me Not Fund with Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. On Sunday 13th May 2012 my colleague Terence Docherty, my nephew Daniel Crowe and I will be taking part in the Etape Caledonia 2012 with a view to raising money for the fund.
The Etape Caledonia is an 81 mile cycle race starting and finishing in Pitlochry. It is the biggest closed-road cycle race in the UK. The race is tough, taking 5 hours or so to complete and is certainly not for the faint-hearted with many riders dropping out, crashing or being timed out!
Please give generously for this lasting tribute to Lynn's memory.
