Story

After a quiet 2023, in regards to charity runs, its time for me to get back on the fundraising trail!

This year I am looking to raise as much money as I can for another fantastic charity, Ataxia UK.

The reason I have chosen to run for Ataxia UK is to raise awareness and much needed funds for a charity who have been supporting a close friend of mine, Charlie Duggins-Jones and his family through their challenging journey.

Charlie & Becky's little one, Hugo, has been diagnosed with the rare genetic form of Ataxia. Hugo will face some difficult times as he grows up with such a rare condition as the future is so unknown.

I said after the last London Marathon that I wouldn't do it again, but..... I have decided to run both the London Landmarks Half Marathon on 7th April AND the London Marathon 2 weeks later! The competitive side of my brain says 'go on Gav, you know you want to!'

So here we go again, if you can donate thank you and if you can't then please share my page to help raise awareness. All help is really appreciated by myself, Ataxia UK and Hugo's family.
