Story
Gary spent his last 25 days in this amazing hospice in Hornbeam Park, Harrogate.
He and his family who spent so much time with him there, and friends who visited, were so impressed with the love, care and respect shown by all the staff – from the nurses and care workers to the chefs, counsellors and volunteers.
Gary has never liked cut flowers, so asked that in lieu of any being sent, donations should instead be made to the hospice in his name (any flowers received will be given to the hospice and distributed between the patients' rooms).
He fought a good fight to the end and was treated with great respect and dignity at St Michael's. We hope you can give generously to this excellent charity so other patients – and their loved ones – can be given the same comforts.
