Get fit and have fun this winter by taking part in our virtual challenge of cycling the length of the UK from Lands End to John O'Groats. There's everything to ride for so pick your teammates and allocate your distances wisely!
Story
On Friday 26th March I'm cycling 100 miles to raise funds for the amazing School of Hard Knocks charity, and I'm doing it all before lunch.
I'm part of a team of lads and between us we have to cycle the 603 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats. They've planned a circuit of London's football stadiums but as I'm not in London anymore I'm going to try and knock out my 100 miles before they start by getting up at 5am and getting on the turbo trainer.
This is all in aid of School of Hard Knocks. I recently had the privilege of volunteering for them and saw their incredible work up close. Their compassionate and capable team use sports and class room sessions to deliver life and employability skills such as goal-setting, anger and fear management, CV-writing and interview preparation. The SOHK team helps school kids improve their behaviour and attendance, and helps adults get their confidence back and get back into work.

School of Hard Knocks runs courses that use sport to tackle issues surrounding unemployment, antisocial behaviour, crime and health.
We teach responsibility, motivation, teamwork, respect and discipline - all of which allow individuals to take responsibility for their actions and context.
