Story
I was diagnosed with epilepsy a year and a half ago. I understand the complications and frustrations as to how the disease has impacted my life, but also the thousands of others who live with it daily. Moreover, many people do not understand how this ailment can also affect the lives of loved ones and close friends in many ways. Its negative consequences are profound and difficult to fully articulate and convey.
As an avid runner, I have many marathons under my belt. The opportunity to participate in the 2021 New York Marathon is especially exciting because it's not only my dream race, but it's a race that will provide financial resources that will be used to directly fund continuing research in hopes of annihilating the disease .Thank you for considering to partner with me, and with many others, in support of the CURE Epilepsy foundation.
