Story
Yorkshire Marathon 17th October 2021
I took up running at the beginning of February this year and fell in love with it from the off. I never would have dreamt of signing up for a marathon if you had asked me 8 months ago, but here we are.
I am going to be running the Yorkshire Marathon on 17th October 2021, this will be my first ever marathon and I’m excited but also terrified.
I have been training for the last 4 months, but now, with exactly 2 months to go it is time to set up my charity page for a local charity in my home town, providing a great service to local people in need of support. Please, give whatever you can, no donation is too small, it is very much appreciated. I am hoping to raise £300, but if we can smash that total that would be immense. Thank you to everyone who supports me and the charity, it is really appreciated.
Marathon Goals
This is my first ever marathon, so it’s going to be a massive accomplishment just to finish the 26.2 mile race, or 42.2km if you’re a metric kind of person.
Goal A - to complete the marathon
Goal B - to run under four hours
Goal C - push for under 3 hours 45 minutes
