Story

Hello there..!!

On the 25th June I will be setting off on the 3 Peaks Challenge, raising funds for Alzheimer's Society.

The challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales.  Starting with Ben Nevis before heading south for, Scafell Pike and then finishing at Snowdon.  The challenge is made all the tougher as I attempt to complete the whole lot in 24 hours!

Thank you for visiting my page, and any support you can give is appreciated.  All monies raised will go to Alzheimer's Society.

Alzheimer's Society is the UK’s leading care and research charity for people with dementia and those that care for them.  There are over 700,000 people with dementia in the UK with numbers set to rise to one million by 2025.  Dementia is not a natural part of ageing; it is caused by diseases of the brain and gradually robs people of their lives.  Every day, more people affected by dementia turn for help to Alzheimer's Society than to any other organisation.  They provide information and support for people with various forms of dementia, run quality care services, fund research and campaign for improved health and social care and a greater awareness for those living with dementia.
