Why am I doing this?

Because I can, because it gives me a purpose, a distraction

A determination and a focus 

It gives me stability 

Which might well be selfish reasons for running 

Running, is something i feel 

I might actually be 

Half decent at

Through running i can help others 

The patients, the staff at the Macmillan unit at Milton Keynes Hospital who helped my family, my wife, myself and my son.

Right now if you are unfortunate, if you are diagnosed with cancer it is likely that you will need to travel to Northampton for treatment if you require chemotherapy or radiotherapy.

Or an operation such as a Mastectomy.

It is not all that far, but if you are that ill or enduring chemo then it is too far.

So the new Cancer Centre will and i have no doubts make a massive difference to many people's lives Cancer patients and their families.

So though i might be running the MK Marathon on the 6th May really the distance, the hours, days sacrificed on training are all irrelevant . 

Running is not fun to watch or interesting to talk about if you sponsor me you will not be doing me a favor or helping me out, you will be helping to change people's lives.
